Its summer time. School’s are off. We spent a whole month at grandma’s house.  Had a wedding in family, so we were supper excited and super busy.

Back to home, I am left with 12 days of summer holidays with a big to-do list.  Apart from 4 day long jet-lag, unannounced guests that stayed for two  days, And another evening guest, unpacking, a month of dirty laundry, dirt and  dust everywhere, it was  overwhelming for me. Top it with kids untouched  home work that had to be done in a tiny week.

And now the school are opening in two days, I am extremely burned out, almost  unproductive. Soo stressed, that my brain has shut down, It can’t bear it any  longer.

I needed a time out, my brain seriously needed to detached from this world  just for a little time, all I need was a happy, fulfilling, self-worth  kind of timeout.

The result: Instead of checking out my to-do list, I am sitting on my bed with  my yarn and crochet hook. Kids are still sleeping, so i ridiculously crochet  for 3 hours.

My perfect gateway. My sanity saver.

I found this pattern on pinterest and got hocked to the cuteness of these  little pouches. A few hour project, making them perfect weekend project. If  you love needle work like me, it’s a good little exercise for your anxious  fingers, that are desperate to get back to needles after a long break.

I thought it would be nice to make it for my husband. I used a Cameo yarn to  be on masculine side. And used size 5.5mm size needle instead of 4.0mm, that  made the bag a little big in size.

I filled the pouch with candies, it feels like,  emergency food stock for a desperate soldier. Hahaa.

Crochet, project, pattern, free, weekend, cameo

I really like the outcome. Will gladly make more. Thank you elisabeth.

Enjoy!
