I love chocolate and vanilla, just think about having a vanilla cake with chocolate brownie in the center, so rich that it melts in your mouth. That's why I love this cake. It's quick, easy to make,  fail proof, just heavenly.

INGREDIENTS

Part A ( wet ingredients)

Eggs 2 large, if small use 3

Butter 1/2 cup

Sugar a little more than 1/2 cup

Vanilla 1 tsp

Yogurt 1/4 cup

Part B (dry ingredients)

Flour 1 cup + 1/4 cup

Baking powder heaping 1 tsp

Soda 1/4 tsp

Salt a pinch

Part C ( chocolate batter)

Cocoa powder 1/2 cup

Sugar 3 tbsp

Yogurt 3 tbsp

Oil 3 tbsp

DIRECTIONS

1.   Prepare pan. I oiled them lightly and then dust with flour. I double the recipe, hence double the pan.

2.  Mix the part A ingredients in a bowl. Whisk , whisk, whisk.

3.   Sieve part B ingredients in bowl b. Mix throughly.

4.   Mix part B into part A. Just don't over mix. Mine even got little clumps.

5.   Save about 1/4 cup of batter. Pour rest into prepared pan.

6.  Mix ingredients C in the saved batter to make Choco batter.

7.  With help of a spoon pour Choco batter over vanilla batter. Just pour it without any style, since choco bater is denser than vanilla, it sinks in during cooking forming a choco blob in center of vanilla.

8.  Put pan in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

9.   Cool on a wire rack.  Slice and serve with tea or coffee.
